After more than a decade in the NBA, Walter McCarty is known for drilling 3-pointers from the corner; but Walter has emerged as a talented R&B artist in his own right. Music has always been his first love, and since releasing his debut album seven years ago, Walter is eager to return with his new self-produced album Emotionally. Though new to some in the music world, Walter has worked with numerous industry insiders, including the hit-making production team The Underdogs; R&B singer/songwriter Tank; co-writing on such songs as "Come Back To Me Shawty" performed by Tyrese. After honing his writing abilities on the Los Angeles music scene, Walter returned to his own projects with renewed focus.

Moment For Love is the debut album by Boston Celtics superstar Walter McCarty This album features an eclectic mix of retro R&B and up-tempo dance tracks inspired by the fun and laid back music of the late 80's and the early 90's.

R&B + NBA = 0. Confused, well don't be. At six feet ten inches tall and able to play four different positions on the basketball court. Boston Celtics star Walter McCarty is setting his sights on making string music of another kind.

His debut in the big time came when he was a student at the University of Kentucky. He sang the National Anthem before a packed house of 24,000 screaming fans at the Rupp Arena. He matched that feat his rookie season in the NBA as a New York Knick. Walt's unique ability to sing, as well as his basketball skills, caught the eye of world-renowned feature film director, Spike Lee, landing him a role in the hit movie "He Got Game". Walter has also performed on the same stage with such artists as Destiny's Child, Jagged Edge, and upcoming R&B duo Black Coffey.

With the help of veteran super producer Dave "Jam" Hall, who has produced multi-platinum hits for Mariah Carey, Madonna, Mary J. Blige and Brownstone, Moment For Love is an expression of Walters' that is not often seen running up and down the basketball court. Along with Hall up-and-coming producer Melvin Coleman, Moment For Love explores everything from lost love to letting loose and having a good time. Catchy hooks and smooth melodies makes this debut album a must have for any R&B music fan.
